Within the Health and Care Administration, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. More information about what this means for this position will be provided during a possible interview. Exceptions from the full-time norm are personal assistants.

Meeting Points 65

Meeting Points 65 operates from a public health perspective and offers health-promoting activities for people over 65 years old. Meeting Points 65 is part of the mission for open and early interventions and includes 15 meeting points spread throughout the municipality, with strong cohesion and close collaboration among employees.

We offer social, physical, and knowledge-giving interventions as well as advice and support for good eating habits, aiming to promote health, independence, and community. In the organization, activity leaders with various professional backgrounds work, such as health educators, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. The organization is currently in a significant development phase, where creativity, innovation, and participation are important cornerstones. There are good opportunities for both personal and organizational development.

Job Description

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and developing social and physical activities for our target group. The role may also include introducing participants to the gym and motivating them for safe and individualized training. You will work both independently and in groups, lead activities, and contribute to strengthening participants' knowledge, motivation, and participation in their own health. The position is full-time with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or health educator. It is advantageous if you have experience leading group activities and knowledge of gardening. To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

As a person, you see opportunities in changes and can easily adapt to changing conditions. You also take initiative and start activities to achieve results. Furthermore, you work well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You easily grasp and see opportunities with new ideas, methods, and working methods, driving and implementing change. Last but not least, you are innovative and often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues.
